1. Who is responsible

CowSupply B.V., located at Drift 5, 7731 TB Ommen, The Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce number 42177775), is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. For questions about the processing of your data, you can contact us via info@cowsupply.nl.

2. What data we collect

When you place an order or contact us, we process the following data: name, address and delivery address details, email address, telephone number, payment details (processed via Shopify Payments; CowSupply does not see or store full payment card details itself), and order history. For resellers, we also process company data such as company name and VAT number. In addition, we automatically collect technical data via cookies.

3. What we use this data for

We use your data to process and deliver orders, provide customer service, keep the webshop functioning and secure, and — solely with your consent — to inform you about new products or offers.

4. Legal basis

We process your data based on the performance of the contract (your order), a legal obligation (such as tax retention obligations), and — for marketing purposes — your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. How long we store data

We do not store your data longer than necessary. We store data related to an order for at least the statutory tax retention period of 7 years. We store data collected exclusively for marketing purposes until you withdraw your consent.

6. Do we share data with third parties

We only share data with parties necessary for the execution of your order, such as Shopify (platform and payments via Shopify Payments) and the delivery service(s) that transport your package. We make agreements with these parties to ensure the protection of your data. We never sell your data to third parties.

Our webshop uses cookies and similar technologies to ensure the website functions correctly.

8. Your rights

You have the right to view, correct, or have your data deleted. In addition, you can object to the processing of your data and you have the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights by sending an email to info@cowsupply.nl; we will respond within 24 hours (see also the Contact page). You also have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens), or with the supervisory privacy authority in the EU country where you reside.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful use. The webshop runs on the Shopify platform, which meets strict security standards, including PCI-DSS for payment data.

We may adjust this privacy statement from time to time, for example in the event of changes to our services or legislation. The most current version can always be found on this page.
